He’s Back!!

Cornwood CC are delighted to announce that Jay Bista has put pen to paper and will return to Oak Park for the 2023 season.

Jay scored over 1000 runs in just 15 matches this season and chipped in with 21 valuable wickets.

Cornwood Cricket Clubs' four lane nets facility has been in operation since 2012. Ten years of heavy use and some harsh winters along the way, have taken their toll. They are now in need of a vital upgrade, to replace all netting, carry out under surface levelling and also attend to repairs on the astro carpeting. This is essential work which will ensure the nets remain safe and consistent to use.

Cornwood CC has four mens teams, a ladies team and well over a hundred colts now participating in age group cricket teams. We are aiming to complete work in the Spring so that the re-vitalised nets are available for use by April 2023, enabling all our players to gain vital pre-season practice.

The costs for these repairs are high, but we realise the importance of continuing to provide a top notch facility for our entire playing membership.

To help meet these costs, the club has started a "Go Fund Me" crowd funding campaign, and we hope for donations from as many of our members, families, friends, local community and colleagues, as possible.
