 Lennon Way won the toss and asked Ivybridge to bat. Charlie Martyn and Lennon Way bowled 2 maidens to restrict the Ivybridge batsman after 4 overs they only scored 4 runs, wickets continued to fall and at the halfway mark were on 205 losing 3 wickets in the process, tight bowling continued with Ivybridge finishing on 249 for 4, with Charlie Martyn finishing with 2 overs 1 maiden 0 for 2 a great effort on his debut for Cornwood, the pick of the bowling was Lennon Way with 2 overs 2 maidens and 2 wickets.

 In reply Cornwood got off to a great start with Eion Hewitt and Charlie Martyn putting on 26 in their 4 overs at the crease. The next pair of Freddie Joynes and Edmund Selby ran superbly between the wickets putting on 34 in there 4 overs with Freddie scoring 16 runs, next in was Toby Harp and Adam Stephens, Adam making his debut, Toby scoring 11 runs in his stay at the wicket the last pair to bat were Lennon and Marriott Way they continued the run feast putting on 35 runs with Lennon scoring 26. Cornwood winning by 59 runs this was a great team performance by all the boy’s.
